I've been sent to the TACRAO Conference in Austin, Tx for a week to learn the updates in state legislation regarding higher education. What does this mean for you? I will be posting new blogs every so often about different law changes that:
1) you need to be aware of
&
2) might be a huge benefit to you.
For those of you who don't know, TACRAO (Texas Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers) is a non-profit, voluntary, professional educational association of cooperating collegiate level institutions.The purpose of the Association is to advance professionally the work in the office of admissions, records, registration, and other related functions of higher education.
They have direct involvement in new legislation and the laws that are passed from that legislation.
Keep an eye out for the updates. I will be titling the blogs by their HB (House Bill) numbers, but tagging them with the relevent info.
